Our Quad II, chassis, transformer and choke strip prime &
respray option.
Quad II replacing old transformer with new unit using
the old shroud and encapsulating in epoxy resin
Smoothing can after completion and respray.
The best Quad II smoothing capacitor option is to use
non-polarised polypropylene foil types. Super low
ESR and almost infinite life time.
Our polypropylene coupling caps have copper foil
wrapped around to form a small capacitance to chassis
like the originals. Note the protection diodes for the
valve rectifier to help prolong the valve life.
